Operation Help a Hero's Operation Enduring Support Project works to provide assistance to military families in crisis or need. Donations made to Operation Enduring Support Project are used to assist service members in emergencies.
Our current needs for OES:
diapers and wipes
gift cards for groceries, gas and clothing
This program has historically helped military families in dire need of immediate and caring response.
In memory of our friend, Kathy Byrne -- a Marine Corps spouse who truly cared for every military family she met-- and in honor of her family, one focus of this program is to support active duty families dealing with illness and loss of a family member. We support service members who are serving their families as caregivers, too.
We step in when crisis hits. In the past decade we have helped:
~ those who have lost homes to fire ~ those who have lost loved ones unexpectedly ~ families who couldn't afford tombstones ~ countless families in dire situations with furniture, groceries, emotional, spiritual and financial help ~ airline travel in extreme situations
Because we are a "mom and pop" organization, our funds are limited, but we try our best to serve families in need in the fastest and most effective way we can.
* Please note: we do NOT consider overspending or budgeting issues for Operation Enduring Support assistance. We support families put into situations that are out of their control.
