,We are an all-volunteer organization -- no donations are used to pay staff
All of our overhead costs are covered by Board of Director members, t-shirt/hat sales and reward incentives through companies such as AmazonSmile and iGive, matching funds or donations that have been specifically tagged for us to use as needed by friends who know we need to pay for a small storage space. We operate out of our homes and a small storage space to be able to cover operational costs independent of donations made to support the service members we serve.
Our efforts are a community effort: school clubs, church groups, service organizations, individuals, businesses, and whole families come together to show support.
Roughly 50% of our donations are in the form of collected goods: toiletries, food, towels, toys, gifts, furniture, baby items, Christmas gifts, etc.
Roughly 20 % of our donations are monetary donations made by individual donors or group drives
Roughly 10% of our donations are corporate contributions or employee match contributions
Roughly 20% of our donations are made in the form of gift cards
